Hi 7F, 8G, and 8R. Thank you for checking the homework blog so faithfully. Now that D2L is up and running, you can go ahead and check your homework there. I will spend a few quick minutes in class explaining how this works.

Homework for Monday Night

7F: You only have homework tonight if you were unable to finish your grammar sheets in class. Remember that you may answer your D2L quizzes for those topics as soon as you want to.

8G: If you did not finish pages 6-7, #1-9, that is for homework (data is below). Please complete the videos for Chapter 1.1. You may also watch 1.2 if you are ready.

8R: Please watch videos for 1.3. Also, you must finish the Chapter 1.2 questions at home (#1-19) if you did not finish them in class.

Homework for Thursday Evening

LA 7F: Please finish the rest of the surveys (links in LA tab above) this weekend. If you need a computer, you can come to the school with your parents during interviews and I will set you up. See me at the office.

Math 8G: We are starting Lesson 1.1 next class so please make sure you watch the Khan videos and lessons for 1.1 (links in the tab above).

Math 8R: We have finished 1.1 today and will start 1.2 next class. Your homework is to complete the questions for 1.1 up to #15 and to watch the video for 1.2.

Homework for Wednesday Evening

LA 7F: You do not have homework today, unless you would like to finish your origami. There is no need to bring it back to school.

Math 8G: Today was your last class to work on Khan Academy review. Please finish off those links and then move on to the Chapter 1.1 assignments in the Mathematics 8 tab above.

Math 8R: Today we continued work on 1.1. You should begin watching the videos and activities for 1.2 in the Mathematics 8 tab above.

Homework for Tuesday Evening

LA 7: We did not have class today, but you are expected to turn in your completed projects on September 11 (Wednesday).

Math 8G: We are continuing to work on Khan Academy, please work at home for 10-15 minutes a night.

Math 8R: We finished up the Chapter 1 Opener today and started Lesson 1.1. Please make sure you have viewed the activities and lessons that are posted in the Mathematics 8 tab (above).

Homework for Monday Evening

LA 7: Please finish your Book Jacket Project. It will be due on September 11, 2013. Tomorrow we are moving on.

Math 8G: We are continuing to work on Khan Academy. Please spend time tonight on the links that I have given you in the math section.

Math 8R: We are moving on to Chapter 1. You have some Khan Academy links to view before we start. Check the Mathematics 8 tab to follow these links. Please also make sure you have the following items for ALL future classes:

• Grid paper
• Geometry sets
• Lined paper
• Math textbooks
• Your binder

Homework for Friday Evening

Grade 7 LA: Make sure you finish your rough draft of your book jacket. Do not finish your good copy.

Grade 8 Math: Please continue to work on your Khan Academy links. 8R are done working on this in class, but 8G will have a few more classes.
