• Get lined paper in your binder.
• Get grid paper in your binder.
• Show your course outline to your parents.
• Sign on to Google Accounts and login to Khan Academy (if you have problems with this one I can help you next class).

Welcome to the 2013/2014 School Year!

Hello Light of Christ Students,

If you are looking at this blog, it is probably because Mr. Berko told you to.

Seriously, we are going to use this blog to keep in touch with homework and questions until D2L is up and running. Usually D2L takes until about the middle of September to get online, but we start school right away on September 3, 2013, so this blog will be very helpful.

You can use this blog every night to find out what your homework is and also to access important links to websites or assignments that I am going to give you in September. After we are comfortable using D2L, we will probably give this blog a break!

Since you didn't have class today, there is no homework! If you haven't presented your speech, however, you might want to make sure it is ready to go.

Homework for Tuesday Evening

For both grade seven classes:

• Make sure you give your parents the information about Google Accounts.

For 7G:

• Your speech project is due on November 28 (tomorrow). Make sure it is ready to go!

For 7B:

• Your speech project is due on December 3 (Monday). Make sure it is ready to go!
• Finish your grammar page from today (41).

Hi Sevens:

We have grammar sheets for homework tonight - #35. Also, if you didn't finish the last one, #19, it is also for homework.

Remember to bring your materials for your speeches - it's a big waste of time if you come to school without your memory stick! The deadline for your speech is not flexible!
